Brown Bear Tackle Box Fly Patterns

Please read the patterns carefully before attempting to tie them.

This will help avoid frustration. I have tried to put the pattern down in order of construction and some of these can become complicated and time consuming.

Nymph
General

  Name - Golden Shrimp

  Hook - Curved Nymph 8-14
  Thread - To suit over all colour
Rib Lead free wire
Back Yellow raffene (Swiss Straw) or latex
Hackle Golden yellow palmered or the body
Body Golden yellow seal or suitable substitute
Feelers Small bunch of golden yellow hackle fibers
Also tied in grey, brown, tan, olive, and a pale orange. Just follow the pattern with the colour you choose.
